B i d d i n g I n s t r u c t i o n

This instruction states what bidders must be aware of and comply with in the bidding for the Korean Embassy in Vienna’s construction project.

Project Title : The Garden Pavilion of the Korean Embassy

Bidders must be aware of the contents of this bidding instruction; the responsibility of failing to do so falls on bidders themselves. With regards to this bidding instruction, a bidder may seek consultations with the BME Baumanagement ZT GmbH or the Embassy of the Republic of Korea in Vienna after submitting an application. This bidding instruction is composed of the followings:

Bid Notice

The Embassy of the Republic of Korea in Vienna invites bids as below:

1. Outline

1.1. Client:

Embassy of the Republic of Korea in Vienna

1.2. Project Title: Construction of the Garden Pavilion 1.3. Project Location: Gregor-Mendel-Straße 25, 1180 Wien

· Surface Area arrangement: As per the attached map 1.4. Project duration: 180 days

1.5. Bidder’s Responsibility:

- in accordance with the tender documents

2. Bid & Contract Type

2.1. This is a lump-sum fixed-price construction. Once a successful bidder is selected, the budget will not be raised during construction.

2.2. The currency applied for the bidding is EURO, and will be used when filling out the bidding application and signing the contract.

2.3. Joint bidding is not acceptable.

3. Design Plan and Site Viewing (if necessary)

3.1. Design Plan will be opened when who interested in this bid visits the

Embassy of the Republic of Korea in Vienna on the purpose of site viewing.

4. Bid submission

4.1. Bid Proposal must be submitted in person and be dropped off at the BME Baumanagement GesmbH, Invalidenstrasse 3/15, 1030 Wien by no later than July 24 (2 weeks).

※ The person who brings in the bid must submit a proof of employment and a proxy letter from his/her business representative.

5. Opening of the Bids and Determination of a Successful Bidder

5.1. A successful bid will be reviewed by the Embassy of the Republic of Korea in Vienna.

5.2. Among bidders, the successful bidder will be determined by the Embassy of the Republic of Korea in Vienna based on qualification criteria including bidding price and capacity.

6. Pledge for Executing Contract with Integrity and Sincerity and Confidentiality Agreement

6.1. All bidders must submit the “Pledge for Executing Contract with Integrity and Sincerity” and “Confidentiality Agreement” together with their bids.

7. Others

7.1. All bidders must confirm that the information provided in the application, such as the name of business and its representative, corresponds with the business information registered to local government.

8. The bidding with the attached documents is legally binding only for bidders if the client, the Embassy of the Republic of Korea in Vienna, accepts the offer. The Embassy however is not obliged to accept a given bidding and the contents of

‘contract’ will be negotiated and finalized later.
