Duterte arrives in Myanmar for state visit
Members of the Filipino community welcomed President Rodrigo Duterte as he arrived in Myanmar on Sunday.
More than 200 Filipinos from Yangon went to the capital city of Myanmar, Nay Pyi Taw to meet the President on the first day of his official visit to the country, according to the Presidential
Communications Operations Office.

With Leni threatened, Bongbong to push protest
As the House leadership threatens Vice President Leni Robredo with impeachment, the late dictator’s son Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. might take her place.
Justice Secretary Vitaliano Aguirre II said that if Robredo is removed from office after impeachment in the House of Representatives and finding of guilt by the Senate, Marcos could claim the post.

Duterte: I can’t stop China in Panatag
President Rodrigo Duterte on Sunday said he would not stop China from building on a disputed shoal near the Philippine west coast because it was too powerful.
Mr. Duterte made the statement in reaction to reports that China would set up an environmental monitoring station on Panatag Shoal (international name: Scarborough Shoal) off the coast of Zambales province.

‘Let’s not go to war with China’
PRESIDENT Rodrigo Duterte on Sunday said he would not stop China from building structures at the disputed Panatag (Scarborough) Shoal, arguing that the country could not afford to go to war with its powerful neighbor.
