The project of building the longest bridge of Latin America is making significant progress heading to the completion of the design stage. After two years on the phase of engineering, the works are estimated to begin in 2017. The investment estimated for the project reach the US$ 700 million. The Korean firm Hyundai Constructions has worked closely with the Ministry of Public Works of Chile to define the characteristics, methodology, and materials for the construction.
