Functions:
• Operate the polypropylene reactor, vent recovery system and extrusion system in accordance with the standard of UNIPOL Technology; operate the plant safely, continuously and
consistently to produced product quality at the least possible cost.
• Detect, identify and react to abnormal conditions that may develop into emergency situations.
Isolates, secures and operates plant systems during emergencies as directed and remain mobilized to assist start up as required. Ensure that all activities comply with applicable Health, Safety and Environmental legislation, and that personnel and the environment are not
subjected to situations of unacceptable risk.
• Conduct start-up checklist on; Conduct start-up checklist on: Valves car seal checking, PSV’s car seal checking, Vents and Drains checking, Space heater checking, Conduct Monthly Inspection on: Fire hydrants and Fire extinguisher, Eyewash and safety shower testing and flushing, 5S audit.
• Identify variations in production plant performance and effectively address each situation.
• Properly document and accurately report all operational readings, adjustments, and inspections.
• Performs all safety checks and process isolations. Drain, purge as required. Monitor safety in all plant areas carrying out mechanical isolations, gas tests and work-site inspections.
• Adhering to policies and procedures applicable to the work and perform tasks in a safe and responsible manner.
