8. EXPOSURE CONTROLS/PERSONAL PROTECTION Exposure Guidelines
As fine dust: For particulates not otherwise classified, the ACGIH TLV is 10 mg/m3 inhalable, and 3 mg/m3 respirable, TWA 8-hours.
Acetone: ACGIH Threshold Limit Value (TLV) is 500 ppm TWA-8 hours.
Engineering Controls
Local exhaust ventilation may be necessary for some operations.
Personal Protective Equipment - Respiratory Protection
For most conditions, no respiratory protection should be needed;
however, in dusty atmospheres, use an approved particulate respirator.
Use a CE approved air-purifying respirator with cartridge/filter for:
Particles, type P2.
- Skin Protection
Gloves should not be needed when handling this material. Consistent with general hygienic practice for any material, skin contact should be minimized.
- Eye/Face Protection Use safety glasses.
