Visa nominators are recruited by Korean embassies and KBCs(Korea Business Centers).

●

Korean embassy or KBC selects potential visa nominators by evaluating their qualifications such as academic background and professional career and request the Ministry of Justice to appoint a successful candidate as a visa nominator.

●

People who are selected by a Korean embassy or KBC may submit a visa nominator application form to the Ministry of Justice at www.visa.go.kr

●

The Ministry of Justice appoints and notifies a visa nominator of the appointment.

How to become a visa nominator

The application is free of charge. A visa nominator is an honorary position without remuneration.

A visa nominator is a person who discovers and verifies the qualifications of professionals from countries of the world and recommends them to the Ministry of Justice.

A visa nominator is appointed by the Ministry of Justice after being recommended by Korean embassies overseas or Korea Business Centers.

Visa nominators need to be a prominent local figure to be able to verify the ability of job seekers. Thus excellent academic and professional career is essential to perform as a visa nominator.

Therefore an applicant shall prepare documents that can prove his/her academic and professional career.

E-1~E-7(E-6 제외, E-7은 일부 직종 제외)자격에 해당 하는 외국인을 채용한 기업은 누구나 사증발급인정서를 온라인으로 신청할 수 있습니다.

따라서 온라인 신청제도를 이용하기 위해 사증추천인이 추천한(즉, 인재 pool에 등재된) 인재를 채용해야하만 하는 것은 아니며, 기업의 구인공고, 주위 사람의 소개 등을 활용한 채용도 가능합니다.

다만, 온라인 신청제도 이용시 HuNet KOREA 회원가입은 필수적으로 요구됨을 유의하시기 바랍니다.
