Elastomer light-guide S (scattering type) technical note

KURABE INDUSTRIAL CO.,LTD.

KURABE elastomer light-guide S

(ELGS) is a useful item of line illumination. And it consists of special elastomer covered with a fluorine polymer tube and contains some special features: excellent flexibility, uniformity illuminance and simplicity at the end of the surface treatment.

Because of the features, KURABE elastomer light-guide S(ELGS) can realize various illuminations for

home electrical appliances, vehicles and Cellular telephone, etc.

Strong points of ELGS 1

ELGS allows line illuminations instead of spot illuminations only with LED.

Point source Homogeneous strip

(14)

Strong points of ELGS 2

ELGS can be used for line illuminations with a simple circuit having an LED, no need for many LEDs.

There is no need for sorting the same brightness and chromaticity for LEDs.
