DJI Inspire 1 - Flight Mode

P-mode (Positioning): It works best when GPS signal is strong.

There are three different states of P-mode, which will be

automatically selected by the Inspire 1 depending on GPS signal strength and Vision Positioning sensors:

DJI Inspire 1 - Flight Mode

A-mode (Attitude): GPS and Vision Positioning System are not

used for stabilization. The aircraft uses only its barometer to

stabilize. The aircraft can automatically return to the Home Point if remote controller signal is lost and the Home Point was recorded successfully.

F-mode (Function): Intelligent Orientation Control (IOC) (such as

course lock, home lock, point of interest, follow me, waypoint, etc) is activated in this mode.

Gimbal

The gimbal is the component that keeps the camera steady

while the aircraft moves, compensating for movements from vibrations and sudden shocks.

The gimbal is also responsible for controlling the direction

CL (Course Lock)

Course Lock allows you to lock the orientation of the aircraft,

while moving the aircraft relative to an external linear coordinate system.

Home Lock moves the aircraft relative to an external circular

coordinate system, with the origin called the Home Point. This means that pushing forward on the remote will move the
