Informed in part by in-depth research on Korea’s own development experience, DRLN aims to facilitate Official Development Assistance (ODA) and development policy implementation. Joint efforts with international organizations will help disseminate development know-how, thereby leveling the knowledge gap in the global community.

K-Developedia (kdevelopedia.org)

For the past 60 years, the remarkable economic growth of Korea has captured the attention of the world. However, resources on Korea’s development experience are scattered, making it difficult for global societies to share the development knowledge that Korea has to date established.

K-Developedia was launched to build academic fundamentals based on Korea’s development model by collecting diverse resources regarding Korea’s socio-economic development experience. K-Developedia is an online platform which aims to serve as an encyclopedia covering all types of resources related to Korea’s development experience. It hopes to benefit public sectors, private sectors, international organizations, NGOs, development-related researchers and students. K-Developedia consists of 6 categories : Development Overview, Resources, Projects, Events, Statistics, and Links.

e-Contents Development Project (eKSP.kr)

eKSP is a series of online courses for sharing Korea’s economic development experience with other countries, which aims to make Korea’s cases more accessible and understandable. The contents of eKSP are designed to share Korea’s unique policies, implementation and outcomes,

institution building process, and public projects that had contributed to Korea’s economic development.

The theme for each respective e-Contents is chosen from the KSP (Knowledge Sharing Program) Modularization Reports, which cover 118 Korean development experience-related themes. It will be updated on an annual basis and developed through cooperation with other International Organizations. It will also be utilized as part of Blended Learning in Capacity Building Programs as well as GDLN Video Conferences, thereby enhancing the effectiveness of ODA projects. All contents will be distributed for free for the purpose of assisting policy

makers and practitioners of partner countries to understand the Korean cases and come up with ideas for their own policies for economic development.

Research and Learning Resource Center has been launched to promote KDI school as the global leader in terms of Korea’s development knowledge sharing. It collects and selects information related to Korea’s development experience and shares it through K-Developedia and aims to further disseminate through various means including e-Learning.

Its ultimate goal is to promote knowledge partnership between Korea and its partner countries in the developing world.
