ABSTRACT
A study on the change ofTrade Structure between Korea and ChinaandItsCountermeasures

The overall business environment in China has also changed greatly recently.China has developed to be the largestexporting country and the traderestrictionagainstChinasuch asanti-dumping duty hasincreased.The structureofexportgoodsand tradepolicy hasalsochanged in China.China prohibited someoftheprocesstradewhich consumelargeamountofenergy and bring the environmentalproblems.China is reinforcing a selectivetrade strategy which willenforcestrictercontrollow value-added and alsorestrict exportsinsectorsthatcouldleadtotradedispute.
The foreign directinvestmentand the economic relations between Korea and China has changed.As a member of WTO China has made various strategic changes in its trade,foreign investment,overseas investmentand regional cooperation policies. Such developments have influenced the investmentin China and broughtmany changes in the economic relations betweenKoreaandChina,especiallyintermsoftrade.
Chinahastightenedcontroloveritsexportsinresponsetoincreasingtrade pressures and calls to revaluate the yuuan as a resultofthe continuous expansion ofits trade surplus,as wellas address the problem ofexcess liquidityinthedomesticmarket.
To achieveeffectiveeconomicrelationsbetween twocoutrieswe'regotto dothefollowingmeasures.
First,maintain the economic gaps between two countries to achieve the internationaldivisionoflabor.
Second,enterintothedomesticmarketinChinatocompeteeffectively.
Third,find the way to maintain the complementary industrialstracture betweentwocountries.
Fourth,diversifytheimportpartnerssuchasforeignownerscompany.
Fifth,strengthentheefforttodiversifytheexportmarket.
