2015 Quiz on Korea - Preliminary Round (Netherlands)
1. Schedule and Outline
a) Preliminary round in the Netherlands : 18 June, 2015, 15:00~16:30 at Leiden University
* Venue : Room no. 0.19, Lipsiusgebouw (Cleveringaplaats 1, 2311 BD, Leiden)
b) Participants will have approximately 60 minutes to answer 40 multiple choice questions in English and/or Korean.
c) Result Announcement : The winner will be announced via the homepage and the Facebook page of the Embassy on 24 June.
d) Winners from the preliminaries around the world will take part in the final round in Seoul on 11 September.
2. Eligibility
a) Dutch nationals who can speak Korean and/or English.
b) The participant and his/her immediate family members should never have held Korean citizenship.
* Overseas Korean nationals are not eligible for this contest c) Age : above 18
d) The winner from the preliminary round must be able to visit Korea for the final round on 11 September.
3. Submission of Application
a) Application form is attached at the end of this document.
b) The scanned version of completed and signed form should be sent (with the email title “Quiz on Korea”) to [email protected], from 18 to 30 May.
c) Applications will be accepted via e-mail only.
4. Qualification
- One winner from the Netherlands preliminary round will win a trip to Korea to be featured in the Quiz on Korea Final Round by KBS. Flight ticket and Accommodation will be provided.
* If the winner is disqualified for reasons such as fraudulent application, the next highest contestant will take part in the final round.
5. Prizes
- The winner of the preliminary is qualified to participate in the final round in Seoul. Not only the grand prize winner but also several other outstanding participants will also be granted with prizes and souvenirs.
