Vacancy Announcement
The Embassy of the Republic of Korea in Nairobi seeks a suitable qualified Kenyan staff in the office of Ambassador. Detailed information is as below:
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Writing, editing and summarizing speeches for the Ambassador - Managing the schedule for the Ambassador - Drafting of relevant note verbal, letters, reports and other official documents for the Embassy
- Facilitating communication between the Embassy and government ministries, other international organizations - Researching and acquiring information requested by diplomats in regard to political, economic, social, cultural, environmental key issues and preparing reports for the same - Any other additional administrative work as may be required by the Embassy
Qualifications
- Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in social science / law / humanities / Arts - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Analytical and problem solving skills - Demonstrate sound work ethics
- Minimum of 3 years continuous working experience in any reputable institution preferably government organization, other diplomatic mission or international organizations
- Be computer literate (incl. MS word, Excel) - Medically fit to work in the Embassy
