1350 Citizens below 19 years old are in various professions and jobs
Official statistics issued by the Public Authority for Civil Information and the Public Directorate for Statistics showed rise in the number of Kuwaitis working in various jobs in both the public and private sectors in the age group 15 to 19 years old to 1350 citizens.
The Public Authority for Labor decided in last May an organizational step to employ juveniles in professions as per the Labor Law issued in 2010, which allowed employment of those who are under the age of 15 till 17 years old as per an employment contract for one renewable year- Al- Qabas
Healthcare Requires Collaboration of Efforts : Al-Adasani
MP Riyadh Al-Adasani affirmed that health care in the State of Kuwait requires collaboration of efforts and cooperation between all government entities to complete health centers because government hospitals suffer due to crowdedness and lack of beds because of the rising population.
“ Ministry of Health should cooperate with concerned authorities on operating hospitals including Jaber hospital and Al-Jahra city hospital at due time, and to coordinate plans to operate hospitals by preparing medical staff, first aid personnel, nurses, and ambulances”, adding that there should be a clear mechanism to be applied in reality. He further added that there are 38 health projects, which are distributed between the Ministries of health and works indicating that health care requires a great effort – Al-Qabas

The price of Kuwaiti oil went down $ 2.25 to reach $ 69.91 per barrel (pb) on Friday, compared to $ 72.16 pb last Wednesday, Kuwait Petroleum Corporation (KPC) announced Saturday.
International markets Friday saw a hike in price due to impacts of US re-imposed sanctions on Iran. Brent Blend was up 74 cents to $ 72.96 pb upon settlement, while West Texas Intermediate crude settled at $ $ 67.63; gaining 82 cents – KUNA

Kuwait Airways Opens New Istanbul Office
Kuwait Airways celebrated the opening of a new office in the Turkish city of Istanbul on Friday amid the state carrier’s expansion plans and Kuwait’s launch of the new state-of-the-art airport Terminal 4.
Turkey generally, and Istanbul in specific, a destination that receives two trips a day, is an important destination, Kuwait’s ambassador to Turkey, Ghassan Al-Zewawi said at an event celebrating the launch.
The opening marks political bilateral relations that are witnessing a development across several fronts, he added – KUNA
We Hope to Have Transparent Burundi Elections – Kuwait
Kuwait welcomed state of tranquility in Burundi as it expressed its hope that the coming elections in 2020 to be free and transparent.
Kuwait’s permanent delegate in the UN, Mansour Al-Otaibi called for freedom of expression in Burundi and also participation of effective parties in the civil community during the coming presidential elections.
Al-Otaibi lauded the efforts of the African Union and East Africa group to reach a peaceful solution for the Asian conditions in Burundi through a comprehensive dialogue based on

The Japanese Embassy Grants the Arab Open University a group of Books
Assistant Manager of the Arab Open University (AOU) in Kuwait for Academic Affairs, Mohamed Sayed received Ambassador of Japan, Takashi Ashiki at his office at the University.
