This study investigates the strategies of japan and france governments for advancing their high speed railway system such as Shinkansen and TGV into overseas markets. For this purpose, their strategies for advancing their systems into foreign markets were analysed using several examples.
The analysis gives us some points in common and suggestions that are very important and prerequisite for advancing our high speed railway system into foreign markets.
