In this paper, We present the optical properties of TiO2 films with zigzag structure fabricated by using an oblique angle deposition(OAD)

technique. Two fixed orientations of substrate, 90° differ from each other, are used during deposition. At each orientation, the zigzag

structure of the TiO2 film is fabricated at an oblique angle 60° for the first half of the deposition and -60° for the last half. The

in-plane birefringence of the TiO2 zigzag films deposited on glass substrate at the two different orientations is determined.

경사입사 증착방법(oblique angle deposition, OAD)은 증착하고자 하는 물질에 대해 기판을 경사지게 만

들어 증착하는 방법이다. 이러한 증착방법은 증착하는 방법에 따라 경사구조, 지그재그 구조, 나선형 구

조의 박막을 제작할 수 있다. 이러한 OAD 박막의 광학적, 구조적 특성은 3차원 포토닉크리스탈, 비등방

광학필터, 넓은 영역 무반사 코팅, 습도 센서, 선형편광자 등으로 응용할 수 있다
