4-6. Calibration Using REMOTE INTERFACE

Explanation about calibration using Remote Interface.

Other commands cannot be used while Remote Calibration.

Connecting Measuring Instrument

▌Before calibration, connect like diagram 4-2.

▌Set up Interface in each instrument

▌Set-up Interface in each instrument.

▌Activate warming-up to all required instruments including power supply.

Remote Calibration Command Sequence

▌Read reference "6-6. Calibration Command" for SCPI Commands.

▌Please proceed with below sequence, otherwise there might be error occurs which stops Remote Calibration.

▌If an error occurs Remote Calibration should be done from the first

▌If an error occurs, Remote Calibration should be done from the first.

Voltage CALIBRATION Operation

▌Switch OFF the Electronic Load.

▌Send Voltage Minimum Calibration command to power supply.

Sending Command CAL:VOLT MIN Sending Command

▌After 5 minutes, measure DVM Voltage.

▌Send measured voltage value to power supply voltage value.

For example, if measured value is 0.1234, send as below.

Sending Command CAL:VOLT 0.1234 It is OK when digits are Over.

CAL:VOLT MIN

▌Send Voltage Maximum Calibration command to power supply.

Sending Command

▌After 5 minutes, measure DVM Voltage.

▌Send measured voltage value to power supply voltage value.

For example, if measure value is 9.123, send as below.

CAL:VOLT MAX

For example, if measure value is 9.123, send as below.

Sending Command CAL:VOLT 9.123 It is OK when digits are Over.

Current CALIBRATION Operation

▌Send Switch ON command to electronic load, and set-up current mode.

▌Send current Minimum Calibration command to power supply.

Sending Command

▌El t i L d h ld b CC M d d t th l

CAL:CURR MIN

▌Electronic Load should be CC Mode, and set-up more than power supply maximum current. If it is not more than maximum current of power supply, it can be switch to CV Mode which can bring wrong measured value, therefore, please set-up more than the maximum current.

▌Wait for 5 minutes and measure DVM current.

▌Send power supply's current value from prepared current measuring program.

For example, If measured value is 0.1234, send as below.

Sending Command It is OK when digits are Over.

▌Send Voltage Maximum Calibration command to power supply.

Sending Command

▌Wait for 5 minutes, and measure DVM Voltage connected to current monitoring resistor.

CAL:CURR MAX CAL:CURR 0.1234

▌Send measured value to power supply voltage value.

For example, if measure value is 3.1234, send as below.

Sending Command CAL:CURR 3.1234 It is OK when digits are Over.
