The appendix represents figures several drawn using AutoCad program. the configuration and dimensions represented are as a result of my study and calculations and should never be used for fabrication.

Acknowledgement

Foremost, I would like to express my sincere gratitude to my advisor Prof. ChangDuk Kong for the continuous support of my Ph.D study and research, for his patience, motivation, enthusiasm, and immense knowledge. His guidance helped me in all the time of research and writing of this thesis. I could not have imagined having a better advisor and mentor for my Ph.D study.

Besides my advisor, I would like to thank the rest of my thesis committee: Prof. Kim Daegyu, Dr Lee ChangHo, Dr Ki Jayoung, and Mr. Marko S. Jovicin, for their encouragement, insightful comments, and hard questions.

My sincere thanks also goes to my Parents including Panadda Kampha and Marvin Omollo for offering me support and encouragement.

I thank my fellow lab mates at Chosun University gas turbine and structural lab for the stimulating discussions, for the sleepless nights we were working together before deadlines, and for all the fun we have had in the last years together. Also I thank my friends Deborah, Wilfred, Steve, Fredy, Frank, Aiolos Engineering Canada and all other persons who directly or indirectly contributed to my well being in Korea I am grateful for enlightening and for the moral support.

Thank you so much for all those that contributed and to anybody named above
