Put your destination in the AR Ways App, and it will indicate the fastest and the most convenient route to your destination. This service can be combined with GEO Band and IoT Street of GangNeung.
* Augmented reality: a technology that superimposes a computer-generated image on a user's view of the real world, thus providing a composite view.
Smart band(GEO Band) is a NFC-enabled wearable device that provides a variety of information regarding the Olympics and IoT services based on the recognition of user’s location and context. Through this service you can send data from Olympics venues and IoT Street, analyze your activity, and receive notifications regarding Olympic game information, missing child, and lost items. 1. Multi-lingual mascot
PyeongChang Olympics mascot Soohorang will provide information in various languages based on the nationality of the user recognized by beacon and user-recognition sensor.
[How to use] This service will use the language setting on Play IoT App. If the App is not installed, English will be used as default setting
4. Photo tour
You can have a preview of Korean culture and the landmarks of PyeongChang region through photo tour. Images representing Korea will be graphically combined with the images of the user as if the user is present in the landmarks of Korea.

5. Be the goalie of your team
Play ice hockey game as a goalkeeper of your team and challenge yourself to become a world champion. Live chroma key technology and AR graphic combination with motion sensor enables the user to play as a goalkeeper in virtual stadium.

6. Copy the mascot
PyeongChang Olympics mascot Soohorang shows fun gestures of different sports for you to imitate. Motion-recognition sensor scores the accuracy of your pose. You can wear sports gears through AR, and check the rankings of athletes through Olympics ranking system.

● 25 different poses randomly appear during 90 second period(11 kinds of sports
plus 14 additional poses). For each pose motion-recognition senses head, arms, and leg as 5 sensing points and score each sensing point → AR effect appears when the user poses perfectly.
● When the game is over, user’s poses can be sent to user’s social media or e-mail
● Other users rankings will also be revealed
2. Cheer together
Set the sports and nation you would like to support and you can send your video messages of encouragement.

Autonomous Driving Experience
Fuel cell electric vehicles will drive autonomously 7 kilometers around PyeongChang Olympic Plaza at autonomous driving level 4, the complete autonomous driving status. You can experience the self-driving mode along with other advanced technologies, such as IoT service, healthcare, and chat-bot installed in the vehicles.
In addition, the fuel cell electric vehicle is able to calculate and adjust its position in fast/slow lanes based on its precise location, and assist its driver with parking. Also. BVM(Blind-spot View Monitor) system has been installed for the first time in the world to prevent the risk of accidents while driving.
