New 'C' Series Uses Symphony Series Technology Made With Highly Cost-Effective Materials

• All 5 new 'C' models feature weather-resistant architecture, higher-performance drivers and crossover components.

• Consisting of 2 rectangle and 3 round models, the new 'C' Series offers better-defined sound with higher power handling.

• Rectangle models feature the Sonance exclusive Flex-Bar System in ease of in-wall mounting.

All Models Incorporate The Following Technologies For High Quality Sound And Long Service Life

• Woofers' are back-mounted on the baffle for improved isolation from the local environment. Further, the use of weather-resistant polypropylene cones and rubber surrounds add to their overall reliability.

New motor stru c t u re features aluminum formers along with high temperature voice coil wire and adhesives.

• Dome tweeters are used (rather than cone-type) for better dispersion and more even coverage. Tweeter diaphragms' made from weather-resistant, treated cloth, provide smooth sound over a long lifetime.

• Designed in-house, from the ground up at Sonance by the engineering team responsible for the highly acclaimed Silhouette, Virtuoso and Cinema Series products. Frequency and polar response along with phase accuracy are rigorously tested using our anechoic chamber and MLSSA computer program. Final voicing is conducted by chief speaker engineer Todd Ryan for best-in-class sound.

• With a highly stable 8-ohm impedance, the C-Series is an easy load for any amplifier or receiver.

• Pe rforated, debris-free woofer basket prevents drywall debris from coming in contact with the woofer cone.

• IR receiver ‘knockout’ for a discreet under-grille placement of optional surface mount IR receiver (rectangle models only).

CR101SST

Single stereo technology model using a dual voice coil version of the woofer in the CR101 and 2 of the 1/2 inch, treated cloth dome tweeters. Combines the left and right channels in one speaker. Use in situations where one speaker would provide more even coverage, such as a hallway, laundry room or walk-in closet.
