• Work supervision for the installation of different process instrument, fire and gas

detectors, and ensure that correct instrument to be installed complies with the approved specification and quality standard.

• Coordinate with the other Implementation Contractors representative regarding interface work outside battery limits.

• Complete work in accordance with Engineering Quality System requirement by following procedures and work instruction. Complete checklist or other documents required during work execution. Proposed changes to procedures, works instruction, methods and plant equipment modifications, with the aim of continuous improvement.

• Ensure that Total Safety Task Induction (TSTI) has been conducted before the works starts then validate the daily TSTI. Also ensure the daily Permit to Work (PTW) is validated by the authorized personnel.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Prepare loop diagram and block logic diagram for Process Automation System (PAS), Safety Instrumented System (SIS) and Fire and Gas System (FGS). Reference used are Process Engineering Flow Scheme (PEFS) drawing, I/O list, vendor documents and interconnection diagram with minimum supervision of System and Control Engineer.

• Design typical installation drawing such as instrument stanchion, junction box installation, hook-up drawing, etc… with the guide and familiarization of Shell Design and Engineering Practice (DEP).

• Site inspection and prepare design changed notice for review to SPDC if required some changes to modify with regards to actual site condition/installation and the approved for construction drawing.

• Site inspection and prepared all instruments as built drawings and equipment data book for final submission to client (SPDC).

• Modification of interconnection drawing and cable schedule based on the vendor documents and latest I/O list, and awareness of the Foundation Fieldbus Technology design concept.

• Data input of all the changes and link the appropriate tags of different instrument, cable, junction box, equipment, etc., to its subsystem on the WIN PCS, a windows Project Completion System monitoring device. Coordinate with the QA/QC representatives regarding WIN PCS changes.

• Work supervision for the installation of different process instrument, fire and gas detectors, and ensure that correct instrument to be installed complies with the approved specification and quality standard.

• Complete work in accordance with Engineering Quality System requirement by following procedures and work instruction. Complete checklist or other documents required during work execution. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Responsible for testing and commissioning of Facility for Commercial Service’s (FCS), Tunnel amplifier, master site fiber optic interface unit (MSFOIU), master site signal distribution unit (MSSDU) for high band GSM 1800 and low band GSM 900. (Test Equipment: RF Signal Generator, Spectrum Analyzer).

• Post installation testing of station and tunnel LCX cables using VSWR and Insertion Loss Testing, and prepare link budget calculation base on actual installation of LCX cable for FCS and Radio Communication System (RCS). (Test Equipment: Anritsu Site Master 332A, 332B, 332C, and Signal Generator).

• RF coverage testing of station and tunnel for FCS and RCS.

• Troubleshoot and rectify LCX installation if found a weak signal coverage of a specific area.

• Integration testing and commissioning of RCS (Tetra and SCDF/SPF) and FCS with Train Borne System using low speed and high speed. (Test Equipment: Chase GPR Receiver 4403/4403A with Hindsite Software, Grayson wireless Receiver with WMS software and monitored by Site Master Spectrum Analyzer).

• Insulation and continuity testing of power system cable.

• Station to station testing of fiber optic cable using optical power meter.
