VISA APPLICATION GUIDE
Embassy of the Republic of Korea to the Independent State of Papua New Guinea Effective 27 August 2019
Please be advised of the following information on the visa application.
1. Visa Application and Issuance
① Applicant’s in-person visit to the Embassy for submission & collection (08:30- 15:00)
② Visa Application Review: STRICTLY 5-10 WORKING DAYS. Therefore, applicants must submit their application at least 5 working days before their departure date.

※ For those living in Vanuatu or the Solomon Islands, it is possible to submit using DHL (a prepaid return mail envelop enclosed). Please allow ample time for delivery.
※ Solomon Islands passport holders can stay in Korea 30-days visa-free.
※ Vanuatu Diplomatic or Official passport holders can stay in Korea 90-days visa free.
2. Required Documents for Single Entry for 90 Days or Less Common Requirements
① Visa Application Form (one of the following three)

Form collection from the Embassy (clearly written)

② Valid Passport: Passports should have at least six months of validity.

⑤ Visa Fee Payment – Deposit Receipt from BSP

Letter of Employment stating the applicant’s name, nationality, passport No., purpose of visit, period of stay, position, salary (stamped)
Invitation Letter from Korean Inviting Organization stating the applicant’s name, nationality, passport No., purpose of visit, period of stay, and that the Korean organization is responsible for an illegal stay of the applicant (stamped)
Korean Inviting Organization’s Certificate of Business Registration
Program or Schedule
Letter of Employment stating the applicant’s name, nationality, passport No., purpose of visit, period of stay, position, salary (stamped), if employed
Travel Itinerary
Bank Statement for the Past Six Months with Minimum Balance of PGK 7,000 (Bank-stamped)
