Financial arrangements for a Meeting of Experts on Violence against women and men in the world of work
1.
The Governing Body has received a revised draft decision point in relation to the agenda of the International Labour Conference 1 which includes a proposal to hold a four-day Meeting of Experts in 2016 to provide guidance for the Governing Body’s consideration at its 328th Session (November 2016) on the preparation of possible instruments relating to violence against women and men in the world of work.2.
It is proposed that the Meeting be attended by eight experts nominated after consultations with Governments, eight experts nominated after consultations with the Employers’ group and eight experts nominated after consultations with the Workers’ group.3.
Should the Governing Body agree to the holding of the proposed Meeting of Experts, as well as its proposed composition, it should also consider its financial implications and take a decision accordingly.1 GB.325/INS/2(Add.1).
