2021 Online Korea Week Festival
The Embassy of the Republic of Korea in Ghana is holding the “2021 Online Korea Week Festival”
comprising three programs, which are “I Love K-POP”, “I Love Korean Food” and “Quiz on Korea”.
The “Korea Week Festival”, an annual Korean cultural event, has been open to general public so
far, but this year’s festival will be held from April to June online due to the COVID-19 pandemic .
The Embassy would be grateful for your participation in this event and wishes you all the best amid COVID-19 pandemic.

(1) Video Contest
① Topics and Descriptions
Topic Description
I Love KPOP (‘I am a K- POP Star’)
All activities related to K-POP
Take a video clip (less than 10min) on your K-POP dance cover or song cover
I Love Korean Food (‘Foodielog’)
Visit a Korean restaurant and take a video clip(less than 10min) including the following contents;
1. Introduction to Korean foods (name and ingredients, etc.)
2. Describe the taste of Korean foods
② How to apply
- First, select topic and make a video. (The video can be made with any device, such as a cellphone, digital camera, video camera, etc.)
- Second, send your video and application form to [email protected]. The application form can be downloaded at the homepage of the Korean Embassy in Ghana

(2) Quiz on Korea
① Description
- Are you interested in Korea? Then, please join this quiz contest to get a chance for more knowledge about Korea.
② How to apply and participate - Please send your application form to
[email protected]. The application form can be downloaded at the homepage of the Korean Embassy in Ghana.

- All questions will be set in online survey form and the link will be sent by email to all applicants. The Embassy will keep the applicants posted on details by e-mail beforehand.
③ Application Deadline: June 18, 2021
④ Online Quiz contest : June 21~25 (1 day) 3. Result Announcement
Results will be announced on June 30~July 2, 2021 and notified individually. This may be delayed if the screening process takes longer than expected.
4. Awards
Winners will be selected from each program. The prize winners will be awarded a Korean brand electronic device.
※ Prizes will be forfeited if a video clip is plagiarized or has received an award from another contest.
