Talk about your summer vacation plans this year.
For my summer vacation each year, I usually go with my family to a travel destination either

올해 여름휴가 계획에 대해 이야기해 주세요.
매년 여름휴가는 가족들과 주로 국내나 해외 여행 지로 여행을 간다. 올 여름에는 7월 말에 휴가를 일 주일 낸 상태이다. 양쪽에 주말을 합하면 총 9일을 쉴 수 있다. 몇 년 전에 여행했던 태국을 다시 휴가 지로 잡았다. 이미 몇 주 전에 여행사를 통해서 패 키지 예약을 마친 상태이다. 일단 방콕의 좋은 호텔 에서 며칠을 묵을 예정이다. 시내 구경도 하고, 쇼 핑도 할 예정이다. 나머지 며칠은 근처 리조트에서 보낼 예정이다. 리조트에는 수영장을 비롯해서 각 종 시설들이 완비되어 있어서, 안에서 모든 것을 해 결할 수 있다. 아이들도 재미있게 놀 수 있고, 성인 들도 편히 쉬며 휴가를 즐길 수 있다. 다녀와서 이 틀 정도는 집에서 쉬며 여독을 풀 예정이다.

이 표현에서 R and R은 rest and relaxation 을 뜻한다. 경우에 따라 R and R은 roles and responsibilities, 즉 '담당 업무 및 책임 사 항'을 뜻할 수도 있기 때문에 문맥을 감안해서 이 해해야 한다.
I like to get some R and R on the weekends.
(나는 주말에는 휴식을 취하는 것을 좋아한다.) We discussed everyone's R and R at the meeting.
