The Embassy of the Republic of Korea to Finland is recruiting a Senior Research Officer with strong research skills, policy analysis experience and highly developed communications skills, both written and spoken, to assist the work of the diplomats in the Embassy. 2. Job Description
- to conduct research on social, economic, political and international issues - to draft, edit and proofread speeches, correspondences and other official documents
- to carry out administrative tasks and assist in event planning/management - to arrange external meetings and organize delegation
- to produce a weekly newsletters by monitoring domestic media
- to perform other related duties at the request of H.E. Ambassador and other diplomatic staff
3. Requirements
o Holder of the Master Degree on Social Science(International Politics, International cooperation, Economics etc); or
o Holder of the Bachelor Degree who had a career in relative fields for more than 5 years; or
o Applicants considered as an expert in various fields
※ Applicant should be fluent in spoken and written Finnish and English.
4. Wages and other working conditions o Wage : to be negotiated
o Contract periods : permanent position
- A probation period shall be the first three months from the starting date.

o Shortlisted applicants will be invited to, firstly, interview and then writing test.
The successful candidate will be requested to submit a criminal background after writing test. Both interview and writing test processes are expected to take place in July. The employment will commence on 4.8. , subject to a 6-month probationary period.
