ACKGROUND
- On 23rd July 2013, more than 5600 people were affected due to flood in Rishikesh
- Basic necessities such as food, water, clothing and beddings were in absolute shortage leaving the victims in a more dangerous situation.
- Epidemic diseases spread, putting many lives at risk of death.

- CERAGEM roorkee center near Uttarakhand researched the affected areas and the areas in need of support.
- Scale of the relief work confirmed according to the Degree of damage
- Decided to hand down the relief supplies directly to the victims as they were required urgently

Relief supplies were handed to the victims who were left homeless & affected neighbors in July 2013.

Fought for Korean fearlessly
Making 40th anniversary of the establishment of the diplomatic relations between India and Korea, CERAGEM Decided to reach out to the veterans who served in Korean War as well as the war widows and their children to express sincere gratitude for their service.

CERAGEM launched a campaign to locate the veterans across India, and with the help government authorities, we were able to locate 21.

15 survivors, and 6 widows were contacted and CERAGEM organized an event to show gratitude for their bravery and small gift of appreciation was also prepared.

B B On 25ACKGROUND
th April 2015, 7.9 magnitude of earthquake struck
Pokara in Nepal which also affected neighboring countries
Including India. The disaster claimed more than 7000 lives,
injured more than 17000, and left more than 80 million
people homeless.
Although charities and countries around the world quickly released emergency aid for those requiring basic necessities, temporary shelters and blankets were in extreme shortage requiring immediate supply.

- CERAGEM decided to provide emergency supplies to help victims.
- We decided to provide tents and blankets as they were required more ugently.
- Liaising with police department in Nepal, we chose one area which needed the most support

CERAGEM delivered the required supplies in Kabre area (40kms away from from Kathmandu) once road permission was granted on 25th May.

A long term project was initiated to help people living in the slum areas who are going through extreme poverty.
First step was to implement a ‘living support program’ for the people living in the slums who barely make a living.
CERAGEM center owners, staffs and customers from Bihar state
participated by donation to purchase daily necessities and to support with living expenses.

Project to build 100 Tent School
B B More than 1500 people are currently living in Patiala slum area in Punjab ACKGROUND
There are large 3 slum areas in Patiala area ( Wood market slum, Tractor market slum, Up slum).
People in the slum make a living by collecting and selling rubbish and scraps.
For the many kids who are missing out on education because of poverty, a block of government Land has been rented out to build a temporary school
S S UPPORTING PLAN
- CERAGEM center owners, staffs and customers from Punjab have decided to build tent schools in slum areas.
- We have decided to provide a more long-term support with their education instead of a one-off donation.

- Two temporary schools were built in 2 separate slums and the building dedication ceremony was conducted.
- Stationary and text book support / Teaching staff salary support - Lunch support program.
