The South Korean Ambassador to Nigerian H.E Maj. Gen. Lee-In-Tae (rtd) has called on the Nigerian government to invest more in education for an increase in economic development.
Amb. Tae made this known yesterday at a lecture organised by the faculty of Asian studies , University of Abuja.

Lee-In-Tae who presented a paper titled,
“Growing the Nigerian Economy Through Education: The Korean Way” emphasised that University education leads to
economic development adding that “there is a strong relationship between education development.”
He also talks about the recent relationship between his country and North Korea with the peace talks held by the president of South Korea and Chairman Kim Jong Un.
He stressed the need to continue his
support for the education sector of Nigeria as it is the only way the country could prosper and meet the yearnings of the increased population.
In a related development, Prof. Sani who represented the Vice Chancellor thanked that Ambassador and the Embassy of Korea for supporting the Centre for Asian Studies, promising that the relationship would
continue to blossom.
Highlight of the lecture was dance drama presentation, Taekwado demonstration, and others.
