'주요 20개국 모임'으로 번역되는 G20은 기존의 선진국 중심의 G7 포함 19개국 및 EU로 구성됩니다. 대한민국은 2010년 11월 G20 정상회의를 서울에서 개최하며, 국제적인 경제 위기 극복과 세계 경제의 지속가능하고 균형된 성장을 위한 논의를 할 것입니다. 대한민국은 G7이 아닌 국가로서는 처음으로 G20 정상회의를 개최하게 된 것입니다.

About G20
The G20 Summit is attended by the head of state of 19 countries includ- ing G7 countries, plus EU(European Union). Twenty world leaders will come together in Seoul this November to discuss the state of the global economy as it emerges from the financial crisis. Together, they will take the necessary steps to create sustainable growth going forward.
Republic of Korea is the first non-G7 member state to chair the summit.
