In light of the pronouncement by the World Health Organisation of Covid-19 (Novel Coronavirus) as a pandemic and confirmation of the presence of the virus in Trinidad and Tobago, the Trinidad and Tobago Electricity Commission advises that ALL prospective bidders will be subject to the Ministry of Health guidelines for entering Statutory Establishments. Face masks MUST be worn and persons are required to practice proper handwashing hygiene and social distancing to ensure the health and safety of employees and customers.

MANDATORY Site Visit Meeting:

Tenderers are asked to assemble at T&TEC Distribution Central Area Main Compound, Lisas Boulevard, Point Lisas. For further information, please contact Mr. Ainsley Jackman / Mrs.

Natasha Pooran-Mohan at (868) 636-8108 / (868) 636-8110 Ext. 9190/9188. respectively. All Tenderers are also reminded that they must be equipped with their PPE. This includes Safety Boots, Safety Helmet, Safety Glasses and Face Mask.

Internal and External Cleaning of Substation Buildings and Compounds within the Northern Distribution Area for a period of twelve (12) Months

PAYMENTS

Payments for ALL tenders will only be accepted ONLINE.

1. Register: Access the Online Tenders Payment System https://ttec.co.tt/etendering and click on the “If you are a new user, click here to register” link. Fill out the required information and click on the registration button. A confirmation link will be sent to your email address. You must access this email and click on the link to confirm registration.

2. Purchase a Tender: Click on the “Select for Purchase”

checkbox located on the tender record. Then Click on the shopping cart.

3. Access Package after Purchasing: Log in to our Online Tenders System, https://ttec.co.tt/etendering using your registered email. Once logged onto the system, please navigate to the payment history. All your purchases will be listed with the links to download the Tender. Click “Download”

under the column titled “e-Package Download”.

Note: You must complete registration before you can login and use the system.

TENDERERS MUST COMPLY WITH THE FOLLOWING INSTRUCTIONS:

1. Carefully read the Instructions to Tenderers and ensure the submission of Mandatory documents. Non-submission of these documents can lead to disqualification.

2. Tenderers shall submit completed Tender Bids in SOFT COPY on CDR/DVDR, or Flash Drive using PDF non-editable Formats.

Please see additional instructions to the Tender in the Request for Tender (RFT) package for detailed guidelines.

3. Bid Submissions can be made from 8:30 A.M. TO 11:45 A.M. and from 1:00 P.M. TO 3:30 P.M. Mondays to Fridays, EXCEPT on Public Holidays

4. Submissions must be deposited at the Trinidad and Tobago Electricity Commission, Procurement and Supplies Department, LP #846, Southern Main Road, King Village, California.

5. ON THE CLOSING DATE OF THE RFT, SOFT COPY BIDS MUST BE DELIVERED NO LATER THAN THE ADVERTISED CLOSING TIME FOR THE SPECIFIC RFT

6. Valid contact information (Email Address, Telephone Number, Mailing Address) must be inserted in the logbook at the tender box. This is to ensure that the Commission can provide tenderers with the receipt and instructions for the online public openings.

PUBLIC OPENINGS

A link will be provided to tenderers who submitted bids so they can witness the live reading of the bid submissions online.

Tenderers are asked to assemble at T&TEC Chaguaramas Substation follow by Vendor’s Mall Substation and Keate Street Substation. For further information, please contact Mr. Keith De Freitas / Mr. Nickyle Graham at 1 (868) 759-6553 / 1 (868) 488-9296 respectively. All Tenderers are also reminded that they must be equipped with their PPE. This includes Fire Retardant Clothing (FRC) Safety Boots, Safety Helmet, Safety Glasses and Face Mask.

All prospective bidders will be subject to the Ministry of Health guidelines for entering Statutory Establishments. FACE MASKS MUST be worn and persons are required to practice proper handwashing hygiene and social distancing.

Tenderers are also reminded that NO Short Pants or Sleeveless Tops should be worn at the above Site Visits.

NB: Tender No. 21130 - Purchase of the Tender package would NOT be available after the Site Visit Date
