Table 1. Thresholds (T1, T2, T3, T4, and T5) corresponding to null, light, moderate, severe, and extreme intensities of upper-level turbulence and AUC values for best 20 diagnostics for calculating the combined KTG index that are based on the 1-yr (2011.06~2013.05) PIREP data over East Asia and Unified Model (UM) based on operational Regional Data Assimilation and Prediction System (RDAPS) in the Korea Meteorological Administration (KMA).

Formulations of all indices can be found from Jang et al. (2009) and Kim et al. (2009).
