LAWA understands that many project requirements are very large in scope and may present challenges for the average small business to bid or propose on the entire project.

LAWA sets subcontractor program goals on various types of projects.

Just ONE example… if a $5 million dollar project has the following goals:

Small Business Enterprise (SBE) 10%

Local Business Enterprise (LBE) 7%

Local & Small Business Enterprise (LSBE) 5%

Disabled Veteran Business Enterprise (DVBE) 3%

TOTAL 25% of the Project (in percentage of dollars) OR $1,250,000 is expected to go to SUBCONTRACTORS!

$500,000

$350,000

$250,000

$150,000
