Three wavelength laser tissue blood oxygenation monitor using two point detections and differential calculation
【Principle】
BOM-L1 TRW irradiates tissue by the three wavelemgth laser light. The scattered and absorbed light by the tissue is detected by the detectors,and the signal is processed in the electronic circuit for the calculation of the blood volume and its oxygenation.
Oxy- and deoxyhemoglobin have the different optical absorption spectra, and this
characteristic is used to determine the volume of oxy- and deoxyhemoglobin in the tissue.
Also, two point detection and the differential calculation method is used for measuring the blood volume and its oxygenation only in the deeperregion of the tissue.

The blood volume and its oxygenation in the specific depth of tissue is measured by changing the location of the two detectors.
The offset value of the blood volume is reduced and highly sensitive measurement is attained by using the two point detection method.
