<Embassy and Mission of the Republic of Korea Seeks a Research and Administrative Staff (Application Closed on 31 Jan.)>
The Embassy of the Republic of Korea to the Kingdom of Belgium, the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg and Mission to the European Union, is recruiting a research and administrative staff. The successful candidate is required to have a good background in administrative assistance as well as Belgian, Luxembourgish and NATO, EU political and economic issues, as well as strong research, analytical and writing skills.
Responsibilities
w Provide general and administrative assistance to the Diplomats;
w Research and develop analytical reports on EU, NATO, Belgian and Luxembourgish policy topics according to Embassy requirements;
w Carry out additional tasks as assigned by the Diplomats; and
w Attend conferences, build networks of NGO, academic, industry and government contacts.
Desired Experience & Qualifications
w Fluent in English- preferably native speaker and French working level;
w Master’s degree- preferably +3 years of working experience;
w Knowledge of EU, NATO, Belgian and Luxembourgish Institutions, law, policy making and procedures;
w The ability to analyze and understand policy implications of Belgian, Luxembourgish, EU or NATO initiatives and legislative proposals;
w The ability to research and prepare policy papers and to explain complex issues clearly and concisely;
w Excellent communication skills, both oral and written;
w The ability to work independently and under pressure to tight deadlines;
w Good personal organizational skills; and, w Work permit required, if needed.
Salary
w Euros 2.100 to 2.400 Gross per month, depending on the experience;
